Hands-On Learning Experience

It is our belief that building empathy and understanding about conditions unique to Veterans leads to better exams and outcomes. That’s why VES provides a range of robust training opportunities, from online training to an immersive, weeklong, in-person learning experience. Our training helps develop highly productive, empathetic, and skilled clinicians who understand the unique concerns of Veterans and transitioning service members.

In our immersive training, select providers visit the work environments of the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Navy and learn from service members firsthand about their injuries and health conditions sustained during work, training, deployment, and combat. These providers get hands-on practice facilitating an exam from start to finish, along with coaching from VES clinicians and trainers.

Provider Testimonials

“I joined VES after hearing about the huge backlog preventing our Nation’s Veterans from receiving the benefits they deserve. The opportunity to really make a difference, all while generating a significant income stream is priceless!” — Leslie Fields M.D., Kansas City, Missouri
“It is rewarding to me to be able to accurately evaluate disabled Veterans the way they should be evaluated. To stay in a military system taking care of my own with a company that is so pro Veteran feels like I am in the right place. It feels like family.” — Diane Zier, FNP-C, San Antonio, Texas
“After more than 15 years of practicing general medicine, I was exhausted and burnt out from the constant battle with administration on quality patient care! I decided to take a leap of faith — best decision I ever made for my medical career! Now I have the flexibility of my own schedule, better salary and still provide a needed service to the Veterans in my community!!” — Karen J. Olivero, MMS, PA-C, Tampa, Florida
